My Approach to Medicine I have always known that I wanted to be a doctor, just what kind of doctor was always the question. I began working in the operating room at the age of 17 and I knew after stepping foot into the OR, that I was hooked and my future career would somehow have to involve surgery. better specialty! I feel it is a privilege to be invited in to a person’s family and be able to treat her, her mother and her daughter. I also enjoy educating my patients through their various stages of life. I am very outgoing and enjoy talking to and developing relationships with patients. My Background
I grew up in Pensacola Florida, a navy brat. I am the older of
two children and have a younger brother that I am very close to. My mom lives with me
and helps me take care of my amazing son, Lucas who has just turned six! We are a
small, but very tight knit family. I am engaged to a wonderful guy, Rich, who is an
engineer and he has two great boys, Brian who is ten and Shaun who is six. We have two
nine month old lab puppies Lucky and Riley and a 17 year old dog named Buttons!
