My Approach to Medicine OB/GYN must be in my blood. My father is an OB/GYN and still practices in my hometown, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Seeing the specialty first-hand as I grew up made me realize that I, too, wanted to care for women. I have never wanted to do anything else. lives. From the adolescent going through the changes of puberty, to the woman in her post-menopausal years, and everything in between, I am devoted to her care. My patients describe me as open, friendly, and an advocate for them. As the newest member to the Hoffman and Associates group, I am honored to work with such wonderful physicians and to serve our patients. My Background I was born in the Netherlands to a Greek mother and a Dutch father. We moved to the U.S. when I was a year old, but I have always embraced my roots. The middle of three children, my brother, sister, and I were fortunate to spend our childhood summers in Holland and Greece. And our mom made sure that we attended Greek school so that we’d learn to speak the language. I continue to work on my Greek and Dutch today, although, after majoring in Spanish at Bucknell University, that has become my best foreign language. With my international background, I love to travel. When I can’t travel abroad I love to spend time at Bethany Beach, Delaware. I also enjoy aerobics, jogging and reading. I fell in love with Baltimore during residency and decided to make it my home. I live here with my wonderful husband, Chris, an attorney. We have been married for four years.
